The Sunday Post is a weekly recap meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

N E W S

This week just flew by again and I got a lot of reading done. I finished Dear Martin which I’m telling you right now is a must read and I got an ARC of Stay – the second WAGs book and it was amazing!

We’ve had terrible weather, which came after a heat wave and I’m in that awkward position where you have no idea what clothes and shoes to wear. It’s hot and cold every 5 minutes.

Did you see the historic photo of all the NATO wives posing along with Gauthier Destenay, the husband of Luxembourg’s gay Prime Minister. I just love this!

  1. Love hearing that Stay was so good! I ‘m loving the cast of characters that Bowen/Kennedy created in the Him/Us world. Sounds like some crazy weather. Hard to know what to plan for. We had a day or two of ran last week and now it is just seriously HOT. Ugh. Such a cool IG pic… makes me want to go jump in a pool. 🙂 That sounds so good about now. 🙂 Hope you have a great week, my friend!

  2. I did see that photo, that was pretty cool. And I hope your weather sorts itself out soon- it’s been nice here the last two days but before that we’ve had nice then rain and it was like that for two weeks. Ugh.

I liked your 10 movies post! I’m looking forward to some of those too… 🙂

  3. I saw that photo, but I also saw someone point out how the White House left him out when they listed all the people in the photo. I didn’t fact check though, so I can’t guarantee the accuracy of that. Pretty awful if it’s true, or a seriously bad accident.

Ugh the weather where you don’t know what to wear is the worst kind!

  4. Sorry about the weather. I hope you enjoy Stay. I’m curious about it too but I have lots of books to review this week. It’s gonna be overwhelming to add another one. I’m looking forward for your review though. We’ll see. Maybe I’ll purchase or request it next week.

Anyway, have a wonderful week and happy reading. 😁

  5. I’m really hoping that we get summer weather soon. May was pretty cold and I’d like to put my sweaters away till Christmas! I think it is supposed to at least be in the 70s this week which is something. Some of my coworkers take cardigans to work so they’re prepared either way and I keep thinking that I need to do that too.

I will have to check out your post on reading YA as an adult. I was in my late 20s when I really started reading YA fiction (aside from the books I read as a teen in the 90s but there wasn’t as much YA fiction as there is now).

Hope you have a great week!

  6. Enjoy your week, I like the post about reading Young Adult as an adult. When I was a teen there wasn’t much good YA out there like there is today so I don’t mind dipping in every once in a while. I also enjoy New Adult too.

  7. I hate it when the weather is witching and you’re in that awkward state of not knowing what to wear. Here it’s been really warm the last few weeks, which is annoying too. I hope you’re having a good week!
