The Sunday Post is a weekly recap meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

N E W S

Hello hello hello! What an eventful week it was for me. For those of you who were around last week, I changed my web host and I’m officially moved with no down time at all, hooray!

My last Sunday post was almost lost because I was already moving and it didn’t go through, so I didn’t post anything at all this week in case something got lost, except from my scheduled cover reveal and moved my files again just to be safe. But now I’m back and we’re back in business as usual!

Oh and by the way a lot of you were shocked at the high temperatures we had during our heat wave (45°C, 113°F) and no, that’s not normal but now we’re back to 35-8°C which is great because I had a lot of paper work related stuff to do and I was out of the house almost all week.

I got approved for Amy Schumer’s The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo almost two years after I requested it from NetGalley and I didn’t love it. I haven’t read a lot of autobiographies even though Amy claims this is not an autobiography, but those I have read I loved and this one was just all over the place. And I didn’t laugh one bit. I don’t even know if I was supposed to. Have you read it?

Tomorrow I’ll post my review of The Smallest Thing which is based on the true story of Eyam, an English village that was quarantined due to the plague.

Michelle talks about drifting away from YA. Molly celebrated 2 years of blogging and shared a few things she’s learned with us. And – although I guess almost all of us have seen it by now – there’s a HUGE blog hope chain happening on twitter that you should definitely join. I’m posting the original tweet, just scroll down and reply – it might take a few years to get to the bottom of it, this thing just exploded!

  1. Glad the switchover was fairly painless! What a relief to have that done.
I’m still laughing that you approved for something after TWO YEARS. That’s so insane. I’ve read some positive reviews of the book but frankly I’m not much of an Amy Schumer fan so I never picked it up.
That blog hop sure took off didn’t it? I’m still getting notifications from it. 🙂 Love that.
