Hello lovely people, September is here! I hope you all had a great summer and got lots of reading done. Personally I enjoyed a few days by the beach, worked on my tan and read tons of books so this summer definitely was better than the previous one, here’s to a decent winter ⛄
I don’t even remember the last time I did a Sunday Post, I went through a reading slump but now I’m back on track and luckily I’ve read some awesome books these past few weeks.
For those of you how might noticed, the blog looks a bit different now, I changed the header – went for something more minimal – and I’m thinking about changing a theme too, I’m usually getting restless after an entire year of having the same themes on the blog so I might be changing stuff around, do you get restless as easily? Some of the blogs I follow almost never change their looks and I admire that so much, I just can’t help myself. But I’m also still working from my tablet and it is not easy customizing a blog from the tablet, at all.
Game of Thrones is done and I. DO. NOT. WANT. TO. TALK. ABOUT. THAT. FINAL. SCENE. because my baby Viserion noooo BUT I will properly fangirl about Rhaegar and Lyanna’s wedding. I’ve waited years for my theory to be confirmed and we finally have it, I don’t know how to describe the feeling yet…

I can’t wait to share my Dear Martin review, so freaking good. I’m currently writing my review for 27 Hours, it’s getting longer by the day that one and finally, A Killer Harvest is still sitting on my Kindle, I don’t want to DNF it but it’s been a month and it might be time…

BILL 📣 SKARSGARD 📣 AS 📣 PENNYWISE
If you’ve been around the blog you know how much I loved Hemlock Grove so Bill cast as Pennywise was a huge surprise and I can’t wait to see the movie even if clowns creep me the fuck out.

I am like you, in that I like to change the look of things on my blog(s). Yes, plural. I have six, so I take turns changing the themes, headers, backgrounds.
Bloggiesta is coming this month, so that’s my excuse. Right now, all my sites are using the same theme, as I love how they look.
Enjoy yours…I noticed the minimal look right away. Have a great week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
6? How do you even manage wow that must take a lot of time. Thanks!

I like the new look. I hope you have a fantastic week ahead. 🙂
Happy reading,

I go through phases about blog design. I’ll either keep it for years or change it every month lol

Right? I can’t have the same one for too long either.

I didn’t understand a single thing about that GOT paragraph. I still have yet to see a single episode. I might be the last person.
I am always messing with my blog looks too. I can never make up my mind.
My husband loved Hemlock grove too! He is excited for IT
Samantha recently posted…Sunday Post: Yay for 3 day weekends!
How is that possible? Good thing is you’ll have tons to binge when you get into it. I remember that your husband liked it, I’ve never seen IT but now I’m excited!

I LOVED the GoT finale and even though part of me is screaming and hiding over Viserion, I thought the blue fire was the coolest thing ever.
The blue fire was epic but I’m still sad about V, everything happened so fast and he had little screen time this season!

How about a Rhaegar/ Lyanna wedding hey? And we actually got to SEE it (or a snippet anyway). And I agree with your review of I Found You, I went over to read it since I read that book too, and I had a lot of the same feelings.
I’m curious about both Nyxia and 27 Hours.

OMG I totally freaked out when that happened, I mean I expected a mention because of the episode title but the actual wedding, yes! Finally!
27 Hours was a lot to take in and Nyxia so far is enjoyable.

I really need to check out the Game of Thrones series soon! Great post!

I love this new look of your blog, Kei. I’ve just customized the theme and it was so exhausting. I was actually planning to change the whole look by using a different theme but I need to get some rest first. The whole domain changing thing has been to much for me.
Anyway, good luck with the new theme, enjoy your books, and have a wonderful week. 😁❤️

I usually get bored with my blog look easily but rarely change it because of time, life, and lack of techie know-how. LOL Thankfully I’m still loving the semi-recent update so I’m good. I like the new header! Is that a nod to HP that I see? 🙂
The GoT season finale was EPIC. So much happening, so many bombshells. Goodbye Littlefinger – bahahaha! Jon + Dany – finally! The truth about Rhaegar + Lyanna. And now the wait begins. Gah!
I just got Ghosted last week. I have I Found You on my Kindle (Lisa Jewell has long been a favorite) and I have the audio of Unraveling Oliver on hold at the library.

Your update is so pretty! Yes, it is, oh Tanya you’re the only one to mention it so far, you get me 🙂 Ahhh I needed those 3 episodes so much but still what a season, it had so many things and yeah, now we wait…
I’m with Samantha…. I haven’t watched GOT either… One day, though, I will.
I can’t believe how fast summer went by, but I’m happy to be back at work, and getting to know my new students 🙂
have a wonderful week and happy reading.

I’m glad summer is over we had the worst heat waves and I’m done with them. Thank you, you too!
I was thinking the header looked different, but I figured I must’ve just forgotten or something lol. It’s minimal, but it’s pretty! And easy to recognize, like in your buttons and stuff.
I am, like, constantly tempted to redesign. Honestly prob the only thing stopping me is that I can’t figure out what to actually change lol. And it’s a lot of work. But oh my goodness, I’d never dream of doing that from a tablet. I can’t even stand writing posts from tablets.

Thanks, I’m always changing stuff and I know that keeping a consistent blog layout is better but I can’t help myself. The tablet is actually really helpful, easy to travel with and draft posts.
I went through a reading slump too and I am just getting back! Blogging slump too – I am just now getting back to responding to comments from two months ago. I don’t know what happened. I haven’t had a non-reading event like that in years. PS – I still have to watch the last two episodes of GoT.

Hey, I saw your reply and I figured you were on a hiatus or something. Some times those things happen, luckily the blogging community is very understanding, we all go through that at some point, good to have you back!

Love the new look! I’ve only changed mine twice, but I feel like so many people know my blog by its design that it would only hurt me to change it. Plus, I love my little fox girl! 🙂

I scrolled down real fast when I saw the GOT part. I’ve only seen through Season 5, so I didn’t want to see anything about new ones, lol.
Have a great week!
Oh no I hope I didn’t spoil anything 🙈

I know! GoT is killing me. The moment the thing happened with the dragon, I KNEW what was coming and I knew it was going to be a game changer. I hope we don’t have to wait as long for the finale to come out.
