“Knock knock!”
“Um… Who’s there?”

Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me
you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in
plural, because I didn’t stop with just one. Of course not.

Hi, I’m Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city.
But I’m going to get it together. I am.

I’m going to learn how to date like a grown up. I’m going to have an orgasm not given to myself. I’m going to fall in love and live happily ever after.

Right after I get out of this interrogation room.

4 stars!

This book OMG it was so good! Before I review it, I have to mention that while I have the previous two books on my TBR list I never got around to read them – story of my life – but I was so excited to finally read a Jana Aston book since her books have the cutest blurbs and amazing reviews. Even though the previous two would give me better insight about other characters in this strong that already had their stories told, still, I was able to read and not get too spoiled or not really understand what was happening. So it can totally be read as a standalone but I will be reading the rest because I loved this!

Chloe is the definition of awkward. She even has a dating for dummies book by her nightstand to prove it. I’m talking, really awkward, people! So, she is trying her luck with online dating and she almost ends up in prison. Don’t ask.

I won’t spoil the male lead since the blurb isn’t mentioning him by name but I loved him! He figured out her awkwardness pretty quick and found a way to get her to go out on multiple dates with him – even a trip! – without her “knowing” she was going on dates. No, she isn’t stupid, in fact she’s very bright but when it comes to dating her radar is way off, so a guy has to get creative and call in a few favors.

Chloe and her sneaky totally-is-her-boyfriend were the cutest together, I laughed out loud, I swooned so much and I had the best time reading this, really, what more can you ask for? Jana Aston’s writing is witty and hilarious, I’m so excited to read more of her books!

about the author

Jana Aston is the New York Times bestselling author of WRONG. She quit her super boring day job to whip up more books and is hoping that was not a stupid idea. In her defense, it was a really boring job.
