Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by thatartsyreadergirl.com.

This topic was made for me. MADE. FOR . ME. I tell you. I thought I would have an issue with it due to GR’s shelf glitch, but thankfully it has been somewhat resolved and then I discovered that I haven’t been very good at maintaining my shelves up to date. Which brings me to a few new features I would like to see as a bookworm and avid user of apps that enable my reading addiction. *looks at all of them* yeah I’m talking about you guys.

FEATURES I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE YESTERDAY IN THE FUTURE:
feel free to shame me in the comments if these are available and I’ve yet to discover them

  1. Now that GR has added a re-read feature, it would be useful to add a feature that automatically shelves book I’ve re-read and the re-read count because I’m lazy and I forget to do it manually and I want to see their numbers loud and clear instead of going to each book to check it out
  2. KINDLE SHOULD HAVE THIS FEATURE TOO! I mean, how awesome would it be if Kindle had a feature like a playlist with our most (re)read books, this would be a life saver I’m telling you
  3. Get a little sticker that says MASTER RE-READER because duh
  4. Have a gif option on GR reviews. Yes, I know this is not a re-read related feature but IT’S 2018 AND I HAVE TO MANUALLY COPY PASTE THE CODE WHEN I’M TOO HIGH ON FEELS COME ON MAN

Now that my demads requests are named, lets move to what you all came here for. I never shut up about the books I re-read, because I love re-reading books, it’s like taking an afternoon walk and eating your favorite ice-cream, familiar and always gratifying. I have a long list of books I go back to whenever I’m in a reading slump, or a book hangover, or when I just want to re-read an old favorite because I miss the characters. Yes, that’s a thing, I miss fictional characters. The list contains books from all genres but the majority is book series, because I love book series.

BOOKS I COULD RE-READ  F O R E V E R   A N D   E V E R

THE DEAL // Garrett and Hannah, Garret and Hannah, GARRETT AND HANNAH – duh! But also, this is one of those books that I just love being with them, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve re-read it. Which is why we need the Kindle feature!

#NERD // THE ENTIRE HASHTAG SERIES THO 😍😍😍😍😍

THE WINTER KING // Forever re-reading this absolute gem!

#JUNKIE & #REV // MY LOVE FOR THESE BOYS KNOWS NO BOUNDS *ugly crying*

GOODBYE PARADISE // Ahh, I freaking love this book, and I love re-read it and getting the same feels each time. THAT’S WHAT RE-READING IS ALL ABOUT

“He was the last one I saw before I closed my eyes at night and the first person I looked for when I opened them again in the morning.”

LOVER AWAKENED // MY BABY Z! Also, can I climb inside a book and live there? CAN I?

HIM & US // Jamie and Wes, Wes and Jamie 😍😭😍😭😍😭😍😭😍😭😍😭😍😭😍

EXTINGUISH // When JMD writes paranormal, I re-read TF out of it

“Someday she’d remember, she swore. Someday she’d know his name. Someday she’d know hers. And someday, s2he’d know why: why he haunted her every thought, why, when she looked into his eyes, she felt like she was home. Because time passes, and memories fade, but a beating heart never truly forgets anything. Never.”

GRIP & STILL // MY NEWEST OBSESSION! I absolutely love this and I’ve already re-read it three times in under a year, t h r e e   t i m e s

“If I break your heart, I break mine.”

BOUND BY DUTY // Seriously, the more I read this book the more I love it despite its flaws because OMG Dante is so precious

LUCKY // Mostly because I’ve been waiting for the next book of this novella but also it’s short and just perfect for when I need something to break me out of my reading slump

“In another life, maybe this could’ve meant something.”

The moment I hit publish I will come up with 100 more books I re-read and could re-read to eternity but oh well, that’s the bookworm life.
Do you want any new feature to accommodate your reading habits and do you re-read books? If you don’t, come to the dark side, we got feels!

  1. I can see how having an automatic reread shelf would be handy. I’m pretty good at remembering though. But showing the # of rereads w/o having to check would be handy for some people too! I rarely reread a book/series more than once, so it wouldn’t make much diff for me, but it sounds like it would for you!

    1. Uh, I wish I had the patience to re-shelf my books but it sounds exhausting and I just need to do a better job at maintaining them because I used to be very good at it but in the last couple of years I haven’t so when I go back for a TTT I’m missing books LOL.

  2. Hi!! Great list of books and I have to be honest, most of them I hadn’t heard of let alone read, so checking them all out has been fun! I’ve added some to my TBR.

I tend to re-read a lot as well so automatic shelving would be so great!!!!!!!!!!!! And a count. Definitely a count.

Hope you’re having a great March!
