The Sunday Post is a weekly recap meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hello lovely people! Is it just me or are blogs in general affected by summer? I’m not as active during the summer as I am during the winter which is crazy because I’m on vacation and I have plenty of time to blog more but at the same time I binge like there’s no tomorrow! I’ve binged several seasons of Law & Order SVU and I’ve seen so many movies I’ve lost count (if you get a chance to go see Baby Driver, do it, that movie was amazing), plus Game of Thrones is back and my week revolves around it now.

I did have an interesting week though, I edited two drafts, roughly 70k (50 and 20+) in total which is insane, that left me completely out of words and just burnt out. For those of you wondering, I’ve been writing for ages but in small quantities and I just realized that after years of working on my drafts, they’re not as small anymore.

And I did some cleaning up around the blog, can you tell I’m restless and I have nothing good to read? Can you? Because I am, I totally am!

IT’S COMIC CON WEEKEND! We got so many goodies from SDCC but my personal favorite has to be the Justice League footage because we saw more of Aquaman and a hint of more League members!

  2. I was just thinking as I’m visiting everyone’s blog today that we all aren’t posting as much in the summer.

I already took one week off in July and I think I’m going to do it again the end of August. It’s nice to regroup/refresh and do other things not blog related.

I kind of liked the new Thor trailer and the trailer for Proud Mary.

  3. Good for you on the drafts! Hope they go well going forward. And Game of Thrones- so true. I think my week revolves around it too now.

the Justice League trailer looks amazing! Wonder woman and Aquaman- wow.

    Thanks for the link!

  4. I’m really excited about Justice League. Normally I am much more of a Marvel fan versus DC, but I saw Wonder Woman and really loved it so I have to see this one now. lol! I should probably go back and watch Batman vs Superman first tho. lol! I’m a slacker on movies lately.

I feel like I’ve had a harder time keeping up with the blog this summer than I did in the winter months. We are always so busy in the summer and then become hermits in the winter so maybe that’s part of the reason why. lol! I love being out in the sun (when we actually get sun!). I swear it’s been nothing but rain this year!

  5. The only time I find I’m less active on my blog is in November/December. It’s an incredibly busy time at the office and I just don’t have the time to keep up with regular posts. I should probably try to pre-blog and schedule stuff… bahahaha! Yeah, like that’s ever going to happen. LOL

I’m not a TV watcher (a week can go by and I never even turn the TV on) but I do watch GoT for the millisecond it’s on each season. I swear, the seasons get shorter and shorter. 🙁 Anyway, I love the season opener and last night’s episode was another good one. I’ve been dying for Daenerys and Jon Snow to be face to face for several seasons now and it looks like it’s finally going to happen next week. Squeeee!

  6. UGH YES BABYDRIVER OMG. I have been absolutely dying to see it.
I totally relate to being on vacation but overall kind of sucking at being productive even though I have waaaaay more time on my hands. It’s strange and also annoying?? Like geez, just do the thing, self 😛

  7. I’ve definitely been getting less visits and comments on my blog, but I figured that’s because I haven’t been getting out there to other blogs as much, I’ve just been letting people comment and then I return a comment on their blog because that’s easiest on my arms. But who knows, maybe it does have to do with the seasons too. That’s amazing that you got so much editing done though!
