Liesje at A Thousand Lives nominated me for this award, thank you ♥ I’ve been getting so many nominations and tags and it’s so fun answering to all the questions, I love it! Shall we…?

The rules

  1. Thank the person(s) who nominated you
  2. Answer the questions that were given to you
  3. Nominate other bloggers for this award and give them your own questions to answer!
  4. Notify those others bloggers of their nomination

What do you do to get through a reading slump?

I have a list of books I re-read that are perfect for that case, The Deal, Dragon’s Lair, Him and a few more that put me back into reading mode!

What’s your reading goal for this year?

100 books and I’ve read 60 already. I always read more than my goal – about 50 or so books – but it’s better than to not reach my goal and I read a lot of novellas LOL!

What’s the longest book series you own?

The Black Dagger Brotherhood series with 15 books so far and they are not small books either!

Do you consider yourself a fast or rather a slow reader?

I’m gonna go with fast but due to many years of reading that’s kind of a given and I can read pretty much everywhere even though I prefer to read in peace but I will read at a party if I have to. Don’t ask why would I have to read at a party, because books that’s why.

What book character looks a lot like you?

OMG I love this question! Okay, appearance wise I’m not 100% sure since I don’t always picture the characters in my head but character wise I would have to say Harlow from the Rosemary Beach series, Harlow is definitely a read at a party type of girl and I ♥ her.

Have you cried because of something that happened in a book?

ALL. THE. TIME. Who hasn’t? Seriously, comment below if you’ve never cried while reading a book I have a few billion recs for you, you weird person…

Which book should be made into a movie?

My not so original answer, the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, into a TV show – anyone out there reading this? PLEASE AND THANK YOU I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER!

My questions

  1. If you could spend one year in a fiction setting which one would you choose?
  2. What do you want to read more about in books? (Tropes, diversity, settings etc.)
  3. Would you change the ending of a book?
  4. If you could change the ending of a book which book would it be?
  5. Do you read negative reviews?

I nominate:

  1. Amy @ Novel Gossip
  2. Kristen @ Metaphors and Moonlight
  3. Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
  4. Samantha @ The Book Disciple
  5. Beth @ betwixt-these-pages
  6. Betty @ Bookish Regards

And if anyone wants to do it anyway just do it and say I tagged you!

That’s it! Until the next one ♥

  1. Aww you nominated me! Thank you! Except I feel bad because I’ve still yet to actually do any tags or awards lol.

I also set my goal at 100 this year even though I knew I’d surpass it. I’m already at 90-something lol which is admittedly more than I thought I’d have at this point. But I wanted to feel accomplished, not stress out over not having enough books read by the end of the year.

Series with so many book usually scare me off. The longest series I own is The Vampire Chronicles, and that’s because I think I liked longer series in high school, and I didn’t have to worry about paying for my own books lol. Plus I got almost all those used. But you’ve still got me beat since that’s like 12 books 😉

And psh, you keep on reading at parties with no shame!

  2. LOL I love your answer for the “have you cried from a book” question! “I have recs for you, you weird person.” Hahaha! Love it! I have two friends (also book bloggers) that I chat with a lot and neither of them are criers. They hardly ever cry at books. And I’m like, are your hearts made of stone?! LOL Because I cry at books all the time! Thanks for the nom – I’ll try to do this one soon!
