A little Saturday fun post this rainy day! I’m in sort of a book slump these days due to life being overly demanding and work and everything so I haven’t been able to really get into a new book even though I have lots of new stuff on my Kindle, patiently waiting to be read including Butterfly Dreams by A. Meredith Walters which is my first book of hers thank to NetGalley ♥ When I’m in a book slump or after I’ve read a really awesome book and I want to let it sink in, I often find myself reading old beloved books and I thought I should share a few with you guys and give them a shout out for always getting me out of that state.

what I’ve been re-reading

Dragon’s Lair by Chantal Fernando — I love this, I love it so freaking much I can’t even put it to words, I can almost quote the entire thing that’s how much, it’s not an overly dramatic book or unique in any way. It’s a simple MC love story with a good dose of MC history which I always love that and of course a broken condom that leads two people to lots of trouble and cuteness overload. If you haven’t met Dex, you need to!

Lick by Kylie Scott — Love Lick so much! Music. Rock star romance. Swoony lyrics. Backstage fun and everything that follows after a drunk Vegas wedding ♥

Rule by Jay Crownover — Tattoos, a bad boy and a girl madly in love with him for years she doesn’t mind kicking his one night stand out of the house every day and drag him to breakfast with his parents that treat her like family.

Sweet Home by Tillie Cole — Oh my feels. Going back to the first ever TC book I read and loved, Sweet Home is sweet and swoon worthy with a Romeo and Juliet themed romance and the drama that comes with that. Lots of tears but it hurts so good!

The Deal by Elle Kennedy — Still hangover from this amazing book, so much awesomeness put together it blew my mind. This is how you write an unforgettable book in a unique way using normal settings. Witty and swoony, it was by far one of the best books I’ve read this year!

Willing Captive by Belle Aurora — The sweetest, cutest and adorable story ever. Despite the title it does not feature a captivity theme, maybe a tiny bit of The Bodyguard? Just a tiny hint but it was amazing and you have to give it a chance!

Any books you reread often? Want more? Book recommendations ♥

  1. Wow, Kei! All your graphics and snippets have me wanting to read ALL these books! LOL They all sound SO good! And your mention of The Bronze Horseman has me totally wanting to read it again. My favorite book EVER. 🙂

  2. I do the same thing when I’m in a reading slump. You sound passionate about these books you make me want to read them. I did purchase the Bronze Horseman a couple weeks ago after hearing so many positive things about it. Almost forgot that I have Rule on my Kindle too. ?

    1. OMG that is the best compliment for a book blogger, I just love talking about those books I love, thank you so much! I love TBH, I can’t say it enough and now it’s been optioned for a movie series so I’m super excited! And Rule is just awesome, I really hope you like it ♥
